Hawkhurst Signal box

This is a scratch built, model of the signal box at Hawkhurst, the current owners of the site on which the box still stands kindly allowed me to photograph and measure the remaining structures on the site. The interia is fitted out with a correct size lever frame etc. The stair hand rail will be added when the box is finally located on the layout, as the base and box are currently separate parts.

Like the signal box this is a scratch built model. I made a punch from an old needle file to allow me to punch out every half brick from the supporting piers, as per the original, to increase the ventilation under the building.
