Bulleid MN "Merchant Navy" Class Nameplates

On this page are illustrated some of the nameplates that were affixed to the Merchant Navy pacifics. Note that as with the light pacifics, the nameplates weren't fitted centrally between the sand fillers.

The first photograph is oh an original engine whilst the rest were taken after these engines were modified.

N°35019 French Line C.G.T's nameplate. This differed from the others of the class in having lettering in a lower case script which matched the company's own style.
