Let's Take A Day Out
This leaflet was more of a booklet, with a fold-out rear cover, which concentrated on providing information about "interesting places to visit by rail" rather than dates and fares to specific destinations. Annoyingly it has no date, but was produced mid 1960s (possibly 1967?) as the map shows the line from Haywards Heath to Horsted Keynes as closed but from Uckfield to Lewes still open, whilst some of the telephone numbers quoted are pre-all number STD codes. |
