Opened in 1867, Warnham is the last on the line from
Dorking down to Horsham, shortly before the junction with the route from Three
Bridges. This is a view of the station buildings taken in September 1985.

By 1985 Warnham was one of the few locations left with a
gatewheel controlled set of level crossing gates. Here the gates are closed to
road traffic as a train is signalled.

The substantial wooden waiting shelter on the up platform is a
survivor from LBSCR days, unlike many of its fellows which have been either
removed altogether or replaced by modern "Bus Shelter" style
buildings.

An overall view of the station with 377073 arriving in the up
platform. The station was re-signalled in August 2005 and a colour light signal
may be seen above and to the left of the unit's cab. The level crossing
still has its gates, but these are now kept closed to road traffic.
