Some serious rationalisation of the track has now taken place leaving the layout as basically just
a passing place on a single line whilst the wooden waiting shed has given way to a small CLASP construction.

| A closer view of the platform end and Signalbox. This line is now part of the Croydon Tramlink
system between Wimbledon and Elmers End/Beckenham Junction.

West Moors station framed by its footbridge. West Moors was located between Broadstone and
Ringwood on the "old line" which left the main LSWR line at Brockenhurst and ran via Ringwood to
Hamworthy Junction, avoiding Bournemouth. West Moors was the junction for the Salisbury line (via Fordingbridge)
which veered away to the left just beyond the platform.

| Another view of West Moors this time taken from the footbridge. The junction for Salisbury,
controlled by a fine array of semaphore signals) can clearly be seen at the far right of the picture. Note the
hand crane in the goods yard. A train for Salisbury has just departed and has left a large amount of goods to be
dealt with by the station staff.
