Guildford Station, in Surrey, has always been an important place
with lines departing in six directions, towards Woking, Effingham Junction,
Dorking, Horsham, Haselmere and Ash. It also had one of the last operating
steam sheds on the Southern Region. At one time the siding on the right of the
photograph had a wagon turntable with two short sidings leading from it.

A very similar view to the one above, but showing more of
the platforms. The broad station layout is quickly squeezed down to just two
lines immediately south of the station where there are two tunnels. These two
