Taken from the staff only footbridge entrance to Stewarts
Lane depot circa 1969. Note the nice range of electric traction in the
shot. Also worth noting is that the erstwhile 4-Lav (in engineer's service
by this time) is effectively a 3-Lav with a Bulleid coach (3rd) inserted to
replace the missing Maunsell one. As far as we know they never ran in that form
during their passenger carrying days.
