Stewarts Lane E MPD Taken from the staff only footbridge entrance to Stewarts Lane depot circa 1969. Note the nice range of electric traction in the shot. Also worth noting is that the erstwhile 4-Lav (in engineer's service by this time) is effectively a 3-Lav with a Bulleid coach (3rd) inserted to replace the missing Maunsell one. As far as we know they never ran in that form during their passenger carrying days.
