Nine Elms Shed - the big one! This was the shed that
serviced and provided all the locos for Waterloo. There is a mixture of
Southern and BR locos on shed, all of which had their tender towards the camera
on 4th April 1965.

| The End! 2 July 1967 and 35008 Orient Line makes its
way along the side of Nine Elms shed en route for Waterloo where it will haul
the first of BR's "Farewell to Southern Steam" trips. Note 34024
Tamar Valley in the background. Along with 35028 Clan Line these
were the only active steam presence on shed that morning. Note also the sad
state of the shed environs and the steam crane just getting in on the act.
