| The headcodes detailed on this page are those used by the South Eastern Railway from
June 1894. A square white board with two horizontal stripes (by day) and a green light (by night) with a
blue "L" beneath indicates it was a "Local Charing Cross and Cannon
Street" board. (The blue "L" is for indicative purposes only and was not on the engine, of course.)
Note that there were both round and oval white discs used.
